Listening Walk

As part of our early phonics sessions we have been focusing on developing children's speaking and listening skills. We are working on tuning into the sounds around us, listening and remembering sounds and talking about sounds. We made some 'listening ears' and off we went onto our listening walk. We heard lots of sounds on our listening walk including trains, noisy traffic, birds singing and the wind. Miss Mogford was very impressed with how well we remembered the sounds that we had heard. Well done!
