At Scholar Green Primary School, we are proud to have achieved the Science Primary Quality Mark. During our science lessons. we focus on teaching scientific knowledge, enquriy skills and studying different scientists. We feel that is is really important that the children experience science for themselves through practical hands on activities.

Science begins in the Early Years where children learn about Uderstanding the World. This is done through discussions and practical activities. It then continues through Key Stage one and all the way through until Year 6. By the end of Year 6, children should have the confidence to plan a range of scientific enquiries independently and draw the conclusions from these.
