Welcome to Year 2 

Welcome to the webpage for Year Two!

We are a hardworking class of 29 pupils. We work well as a team or with a partner but are confident to work on our own. For regular updates of what we are doing in class, you can always check out the Scholar Green Primary Facebook page.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday, chidren should come to school on these days in their school PE kits. They will stay in their kit all day. 

We do whole class fluency reading in school with some individual reading also taking place. It is really important that you listen to your child read at least 4x per week and sign their reading diary. Children who achieve this for over 50% of the half term will get a reading treat at the end of the half term.

Homework books are given out every Thursday and should be returned to school on a Tuesday. In the front of the children's homework books, you will see some suggested activities. Ideally, we would like children to alternate their choice of homework by selecting from the different sides each week.
